“Vibe coding” was fun when AI could generate simple landing pages and todo apps.
But now?
The real value is no longer in generating code.
It’s in understanding architecture, scalability, product thinking, UX, security, integrations, infra, and business logic.
Anyone can prompt AI to build a button.
Not everyone can build a reliable system.
The gap between “it works” and “it scales” is becoming very expensive.
AI didn’t kill engineering.
It removed the easy part.
